We are for Nona
Too often Christians are known for what they’re against. We want to be known for what we’re for.
At Harvest, we believe following Jesus leads us outward—into our neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and communities. Not with an agenda, but with love. Not just with words, but with action.
We’re committed to being a blessing—praying for people, listening well, showing up in meaningful ways, and serving where it matters most. This isn’t a program we attend; it’s a way of life we’re learning together.
“Nona” is what many of us call this part of southeast Orlando—Lake Nona, Moss Park, and the St. Cloud side of Narcoossee—one growing, connected community we’re proud to call home. That’s why we say: we are For Nona.
We love where we live. And we want to be part of what makes it better
BLESS Practices — How We Share Jesus
We believe sharing Jesus starts with how we live.
The BLESS practices give us a simple, everyday way to love the people around us.
This isn’t about pressure or performance—it’s about paying attention to the people God has already placed in your life and taking intentional steps to care for them.
Because often, the most powerful way to share Jesus… is to live like him right where you are.
Family Advocacy Ministry (FAM)
NOT ALL CAN FOSTER, BUT ALL CAN CARE.
We believe every child deserves a safe, loving home—and every family deserves support.
Through our Family Advocacy Ministry, we partner with local agencies to care for vulnerable children and families in our community. This is one of the key ways we live out our heart to be For Nona—showing up for families in real, tangible ways.
Whether it’s supporting foster families, stepping in during times of crisis, or providing practical help, this ministry is about being a consistent presence when it matters most.
You don’t have to become a foster parent to make a difference. There are meaningful ways for everyone to be involved.
Serve Days & Ongoing Service
Serve Days
One of the ways we live this out together is through our church-wide Serve Days.
Serve Days are a chance for our entire church to step into the community and put our faith into action—serving local schools, supporting organizations, and meeting real needs across Nona.
Ongoing Service
Community impact isn’t meant to happen just a few times a year. There are great local organizations offering ongoing opportunities to serve—whether that’s with a school, community partner, or a need right in your neighborhood. You don’t have to wait for an event to make a difference. Every day is an opportunity to live out your faith in real, practical ways.
We don’t just want to attend church.
We want to be the church—right here in our community. So wherever you are, there’s a next step for you. Let’s be a people who are known for what we’re for.
Let’s be a blessing.
Let’s be For Nona.
