Roadmap to Reunion
When will we meet in person again?
This is a question we've been asked quite a bit lately. As Central Florida has taken steps to reopen a wider range of businesses, we know you're wondering what that means for us as a church.
Currently, we’re paying close attention to the regulations recommendations of our local authorities. We are working through national and local guidelines and prayerfully forming a Roadmap to Reunion for in-person gatherings at Harvest. Here's a quick update:
During Florida's Phase 1 (current phase) we will continue online only in our gatherings. This best fits local, state, and national guidelines. During this online-only time, we hope you will continue to join us for services online at 9:30 & 11 a.m. Additional resources are available for all ages. You can see these in "the Weekly."
The online-only programming approach will continue through the month of May.
Phase two of Florida's reopening will include opening up to larger gatherings while maintaining fairly heavy social distancing and sanitation requirements. We are currently evaluating what this will mean for in-person gatherings for Harvest. We simply don't have enough evidence yet to confirm that gathering together in-person on Sundays will be wise even at this phase, but we are planning for possibilities.
In the meantime, our staff and volunteer leadership are forming plans now to prepare for a great Sunday reunion! In one way, this can't come soon enough! And yet, we believe that God is using this present season of ministry in great ways.
While we look forward to a fantastic physical reunion, we are not going to rush it. The wellbeing of you, your family, and community matter enough that we want to get this right!
Will you take a couple of minutes to fill out this survey? It will help us plan well!
